These are two of the banks I made for each of our grandchildren. Each bank is the first letter of their names. They are made from 6 layers .25" mdf and 1 layer .25 cast clear acrylic. I created the files in CorelDraw and ran them to the tray limit of 10.91 inches tall. My son and his wife like the industrial look so I just used .25" nuts and bolts to hold them together.
I like that look too! Pretty awesome!
Very nice, I hope they will be excited about filling them with coins. Great way to start the saving habit.
Ohhh when they are full of coins they will be SPARKLY SHINY!!! – really imaginative!!!
Great idea!
The visual will reenforce the concept of building wealth.
They are great!
I’ll bet they love having you as a grandad!
Happy Birthday Kelly!
I love those. I like that you can watch them fill up.
These are brilliant!
Those came out great. Congrats
Keep Creating.
They look great with the bolts!
Nice!!
Very cool! And you have a bunch of Ks and Ms cut out of mdf to make something else for the kids. (Surely you won’t waste those…)
I’ve been trying to come up with something good. I was thinking about cutting out the rest of the alphabet and letting my church put them in the pre-school area.
Or, how about some nesting boxes? Just keep cutting those letter outlines inward until they are infinitely small…
Only 24 more letters to go plus numbers and special characters.
These are great…Love the colors too!
Awesome Idea!
And great execution on those banks.
