i just want to let every one know if you using non prof wood best way to get unburned work put masking tape on your surface you get clean cut

Actually, I use the blue painter’s tape. It comes in very wide widths, much wider than regular masking tape. Less work to mask something when you’ve got an 6" wide strip of tape.

You can also buy large rolls of white paper masking tape (sometimes cheaper). Amazon carries it as well as several other sign supply stores.

I have found that some of the cheaper old masking tape I had that I used on some non-Proofgrade veneer left a residue on the surface of the veneer. Of course it was on it for about a year and a half. One of the things about using proper wide masking is that it comes off more cleanly.
