That’s cool, but I’m not sure I would let a 3 year old use it, but great for a 7 or 8+ year old.
I’ve seen that a few times - it’s a fabulous idea to create a cutting surface that can be touched without damage, but can make its way through cardboard.
These things are generally called nibblers, and are used when cutting sheet metal. You generally mount them on a drill or air line and turn it into a sheet metal cutter.
Fun idea to market it toward kids. I’d love to get a video with audio, I bet it’s a noisy little guy.

Seems like it’s essentially a small router table with a nub on the top of the bit to protect fingers? just guessing.
No, it’s a head that moves up and down, it doesn’t spin. It literally chomps through the cardboard. That’s why there’s no bits of cardboard going everywhere they’re all pulled down into the machine. They describe it as working like a hole punch.
You can find out more here and they actually have some audio:
I have no need for this, but it’s adorable!
Yeah, the uses I can think of are not worth what I’m sure the price will be ![]()
But it’s so cute!
Price was in the mid $200s
That is actually pretty amazing! A great way to get kids creating even more!
That is pretty cool. And a great way to get kids off video games/phones and learning how to create and use their imaginations.
I was talking about the food printer. If I recall correctly, it said sign up for emails now and save $200, so… one can only imagine the price. lol
oh I swear I thought I had scrolled down far enough. Was that showing 2 days ago? I thought it was one of those where they post before the price is listed. lol I even tried to see if there were any links, etc. ![]()
Over the years I have made a lot of electronics soldering third hand tools but when my last ones started falling apart, I decided to go full in and find the best. I think I did. It arrived today and I’m impressed with the quality of the build.
Besides my primary use case of soldering, I think many of you could find this useful for painting and gluing small items.
Something not mentioned on the website is that the magnetic plate fits a Pana-vice PCB holder perfectly.
Impressive. Not a bad price either.
This whole video made me think about where the things we take for granted come from. Safety concerns are really different than other part of the world, but I just want to send these guys gloves and earplugs and I mean at about 20 minutes in somebody give that powder coating guy a dust mask, please.
Powder coat guy:
I’m calling OSHA.
