Not earth-shattering...Just a sled

I will bet a lot of scraped skin resides on that road today, with the popularity of skateboards.
At least in the winter you have a bit of a cushion and less friction coming to a stop.
Neighborhood Dead Man’s Hill, lol.

Awesome sled. Came out great…

That is beautiful. It looks just like the one I got from my grandmother. I remember waxing the rails so it would go faster. Thank you for the memory!

Didn’t get any speed until the bottom of the run on the vintage sled. The run ended up on the main road. About 2 hours later a vehicle went by. Rush hour traffic. Yep, I was that close to death.

Never learned to snow ski (was great on water skis) so sledding on the local slopes is our thing. On a really good day you can approach 30mph. But if not careful, taking a video of the wife having fun ends up in a snowy barrel roll. Tumbling down the hill at 67. Brush yourself off and do it again.

Not sure I would ride it when it costs $469! Yikes!

Really great work. I missed this when you posted before. Glad @shawn.box bumped it back up.

Also - what’s your photography setup? Your photos of your built designs look great.

Thank you so much! For my photos…I just use a cheap lightbox I bought of Amazon and my iPhone. Then clean them up in Lightroom.
