25 Years ago, I ended my marching band career in the University of Wisconsin marching band at the Rose Bowl, and have been a die hard Badger fan to this day! Yesterday, the Badger football team got destroyed by Minnesota, so that stinks. However, it was the last game for UW Marching band director Michael Leckrone, who is retiring after 50 years as the director. 50 years! Since I wasn’t able to attend the game, I decided to spend the day making some Wisconsin related stuff on the and 3D printer.

Very cool! (Eat a Rock?)
(You ought to send him one of the those fight song engraves…bet he’d cherish it.)

It is a saying when you’re in the UW Marching Band. You gotta be tough enough to eat rocks, or something like that. Here is a picture of me back then. I’m the first snare drum to the right of the bass drum.

So nicely done … it is very obvious how much you cherish your time at the University of Wisconsin. I feel the same way about Michigan State.
This has given me additional ideas for Sparty designs.
