My first attempt at any kind of puzzle. All hand sketched and then vectored by me! The maple engraved a little darker than I’d have liked but that can be fixed next time

That’s lovely!
Did you wash it at all? Even scrubbing with a toothbrush or dropping into a tupperware of salt can pull out some of the loose “ash” and make it appear lighter - it also keeps fingers cleaner without having to seal the engrave
