Its nice seeing your work recognized like that.
That IS an awesome guitar. I wouldn’t mind owning one like that and I don’t even play (unfortunately).
Wow! What a great write-up!!! Of course … there is much to say about this beauty!
Congrats on this recognition! Watch out - other famous musicians will be seeking their own beauties and you will have a whole new career.
Wow! Bet that feels good! Nice job!
That’s just awesome! I hope you sign your masterpieces.
That turned out amazing. Congrats on the recognition!!
well, the goal is for this to be a retirement gig for both of us, so that wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.
That’s fabulous! Since gets a call out you should send that over to Dan & Bailey so they can spread the news (and expand your reach!) I didn’t tag in case you didn’t want to do that
Congratulations! What a great way to be recognized! Maybe the magazine will reach out to you to do an article on your work. Then people could see what other beautiful guitars you’ve done! That be awesome!
Congratulations @shop on getting recognized for your beautiful guitars. I’m sure it is nice to know how appreciative your customers are of your designs and expertise with the laser.
Lovely! Congratulations!
Stunning. Super cool
Amazing work and glad you’re getting some recognition for it! Congrats!
Congrats! Well deserved and awesome that many others can see and appreciate your hard work!
Wow that looks amazing…
As beautiful as it is, I think that would be a crime, as instruments are meant to be played, not just displayed.
Just like tools are meant to be used, and cars are meant to be driven, not just displayed like trophies.
if you really wanted one as art, we could build it with super cheap electronics. i know that a lot of the people who buy a “stage played” tracii guns guitar basically stick it on a wall hanger in their man caves.
honestly, one of my guitars has been a piece of wall art for at least a decade, and it’s probably worth 2x any of my other guitars. i’ve been thinking about selling it. it’s been hanging on the wall in our living room for a very long time. when i first wanted to hang a guitar or two in the living room, my wife wouldn’t let me hang my primary because she hated the color (kind of seafoam colored tele). but she loved the ibanez, so that was allowed.
(Ibanez on the left, disallowed tele on the right)
I agree with your wife. Good call.
However, the cigar box guitar would certainly make a conversation piece. I dont´t know about the sound quality, it may be a little smokey perhaps?
