I am VERY new but this is my first design. You measure the child’s height and wrap string around the cut out part.
I am sure there are better ways but this is my first creation. I made it on the sample wood that came with the Glowforge.

I’ve been wanting to do this with my daughter since she is doing remote school and hasn’t done these kinds of things. And have her paint and write her name on it.

That’s lovely and well done using the different colours making it easier for someone to disable a name they don’t want to use so they can import a name that works for them
