I kept iterating on my fractal engraving techniques until I wound up with this really fun mirror frame design.
It takes about 3 hours of laser time using a doubled engraving pass, and I can cut all three pieces from a single 12" x 12" board. I think the next step is to go bigger, but this was a very successful step in the right direction.
That is quite impressive. Three hours is a long engrave, but the finished product is striking.
