Last week I did just a regular 3D engraving of hyperbolic pentagons in a pine disc. This is an expansion on that where each pentagon has a pattern on it. Getting the picture right was… harder than expected. But once I got it into the Glowforge it was great. I used a different wood, I actually don’t know what it is, and this is about 1/3 scale of the first one. Must be much softer wood because the laser ate the board up.
