I made this memorial box for my mom for a recent family dog who passed. I remember picking her up from the breeder on my way home from my first semester of college. She was always a lively little thing. I engraved and cut a piece of Proofgrade plywood and inserted it behind the glass of the shadow box with enough space for her urn to go inside.

That is awesome. Our dog passed away at the end of last year, after 14 years. I wish I had thought of something like this.
