Outstanding! They really came out really great. The stepped tiers are very cool.

To paint metal I like to use Ranger’s Vintaj patinas. They are formulated specifically for metal and you can mix the colors. You can sometimes find them at your local big box craft store, and Amazon carries them.

REALLY impressive! And rather beautiful! I’m curious… I know pewter is a relatively low-temp-melting metal, but how many uses do you anticipate a Draftboard mold being useful for? Like 1 or 2 I’m guessing?

i get one pour per mold… could stretch to 2 for inner plates but not for outside support rings as they are a 1 time use for sure..

Once you have 1 of each piece thpe poured, it’s more economical to create reusable molds using some RTV silicone. Save your draft board for use as small backer boards to sandwich the two mold halves together. Your wallet will thank you :blush:
