Thanks for the advice. I’m going to try that out. I thought I could just use the proofgrade maple settings, but I had mixed results. Do you start with 10-15 power or increments of 10-15? I started with full power, and it was too much, burned through. I went to 80, then 90, then 100. But I never thought about lower power and slower speed. Thinking I should sand and finish all this wood first, then send it through the laser. It was really tough sanding smaller objects, I have blisters.
