Hi, I know I’ve engraved a photo before - to make a puzzle. I remember having options about dithering and such, and the engrave was basically a black and white dithered photo. But I started with a JPEG. Now when I upload a JPEG or PNG I get SD/HD Graphic and SD/HD Photo. when I choose any of these, it seems to do more of a 3D engrave. My pic is a greyscale photo that I edited in Photoshop. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
What material are you using?
The Draft and HD Photo settings should be using a convert to dots dithering setting (was called Floyd-Steinberg back in the days).
The SD graphic setting should be using vari-power which modules the laser power depending upon the pixel gray scale value.
