This is so great! What is wooden slate?

Sorry for that.
Wooden slate was the wrong word.
I have used at thin piece of wood 10X10 cm

Ah…yes…thanks. That makes sense.

That’s quite lovely.

I would love to see some photos of the process you used if you would be willing to share.

Yes, this. Thanks for the explanation.

The face, collar and hands of the character are the plain wood?

I would not have guessed at that process—it was a bit more involved than I thought. It sure came out great!

Amazing work. How are you sealing the final to keep the washi from peeling? And how thick a tape are you using?

I have not tried to seal them yet because I have not figured out a good way to do it.
Do you have any suggestion?

I use regular Washi tape so the thickness are rather thin

I failed to be at all clear, I meant width. So you are likely using the .5 to 1 inch tapes. But my thought a good sealant might be a polycrylic spray of some sort, preferably matte.

Did a search and Mod Podge seems the most common method.

I recently picked up a bottle at a yard sale - and was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t soak into wood so it doesn’t darken it the way most finishes do - but it is rock solid and clear when it dries (presuming you get a clear one!). So yeah, +1 to Modge Podge.
