I purchased some Plaid Ultra dye on clearance at Michaels for $1.97 for 8 ounces and I figured it would come in handy for something. I discovered that you can pour a small amount of this dye into a plastic bowl and put wooden earrings in and in a moment or two the wood soaks up the color beautifully. You can buy them on the Plaidonline.com website on sale for $3.60 for 8 ounces which is a good price. Amazon has them for $7. The colors are very vivid but dry to a nice shade.

Do you need to dye it plaid? Do they also have solid colors?
