Yes it’s been awhile. I’m still kicking and making things. Today I finally started to mess with some veneer inlays.
So here is my first piece.
The base is birch plywood with a English Chestnut stain. The inlay is oak veneer.
I have to say, when I first stained the birch plywood, I was taken back by how much it changed and how good it looked. I’m a huge fan of it now.
