Material thickness is of course so crucial - it is so helpful when you know the thickness of the material for which the design is made.

Sounds like good advice.
I have burned a lot of things without that data though. Not too hard to measure various cuts and determine what was used.
One time, I found about 4 or 5 thicknesses throughout the design and was wishing it had some instructions on the corner though, heh heh.
