I am interested in engraving pottery plaster. Anyone ever do it? What has been your experience? What settings did you use?
I am no help here, have never had any dealings with it…but I’ll be curious to see what replies you get! I have a daughter who is a potter, and I never even thought of engraving that.
I’m assuming you mean engraving the piece before it is put in the kiln?

I would be really interested to see if you rolled raku clay real thin held together with facial tissue while wet and then engrave a complicated Katsumi design followed by soaking in water after it cooled.
