Pour your own acrylic sheets

Has anyone poured their own acrylic sheets for cutting? If so what material did you use please. Would love to make my own custom colors.

You would have to use acrylic I guess.

Some acrylic suppliers sell materials. It requires the resin, a catalyst, and if you want color, the dye. You’d then need a perfectly flat and level mold with some way to remove the sheet when it’s cured.

Uhm, I think that’s acrylic paint pouring, which is a whole different rabbit hole.

Thanks so much! I understand mold making so I am comfortable with the steps to make the sheets. I just want to be sure as a new glowforge owner I’m not cutting toxic materials and pouring up the right type of resin.
