Power settings?

I have a project requiring me to burn 2 passes in GF to get desired depth. Is there a simple way to determine the proper power setting or speed to get the same depth with only one burn. The material is too expensive to do trial and error method.

Testing is the only way to determine ideal settings for custom materials.

I use this on new materials and it helped a lot. I put a keychain hole in it so I can keep it as a reference swatch. Saved me a lot of time and material
