Practical cuts - Camper Cable passthrough cover

The shore-power pass through port on my camper is not insulated or covered.

I cut some acrylic layers and stuck em together with weld-on no 3.

Added an inlay of the camper logo for giggles. Works good so far!

Nice little project. Does it just friction on?

Yeah. I can revise it with a through-bolt to the inside one if it doesn’t want to stay put.

Excellent thinking!

Nice practical cut!

I’d be afraid of it shaking loose when driving, but as the original passthrough is rubberized, that may not be an issue

Clean touch. Man, if you didn’t embellish it - you’re not thinking right. Isn’t it cool to have that capability to ‘toss’ that in there on a whim?

I see a niche market opening up. Everyone will want one!

Very nice practical cut! You might want to take it to your local camper dealer and maybe you can sell them through there, as I’m sure others with campers would be thrilled to have a solution to cover the port like that! Sleek and elegant!
