This is gorgeous.
I’ve seen a couple other posts with some back and forth about materials. Did you use proof-grade cedar for the backing? If not, did you have to play with the settings to keep it from burning?
How much experience did you have with graphics and lasers before you got your glowforge? (I’m moderately okay with creative cloud, but an absolute beginner with lasers… just trying to set expectations for myself.)

This was non proofgrade. I did a couple test cut/engraves to dial it in. I’ve been using Fusion 360 (since day one so 3 years?), AI and PS (for about ~10 years) My wife just started using AI about a month ago.
We had a low power 2.5W laser for the last 2 years. CNC’s for the last 4~5 years. 3D printers for about 5 years.

This is pretty awesome! I’m also a little biased, since I was actually a Ravager in Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2! I’m on the far left of this picture, and in pretty much every scenes with Ravagers.
