Print with front passthrough slot open

Opening the front door

I’d like to leave the front door (normally lowered only to remove the tray) so I can cut a piece larger than the bed on Basic (no pass-through), but I get a “Lid Open” message. Any idea how one tricks the GF into thinking that door is closed? Quick experiments with magnets haven’t worked, and I can’t see wires coming off them…
