Printed puzzle - what material?

Anyone know about the material being used here? I didn’t know we could laser printed materials because of safety! Thanks!

No, there’s no prohibition against lasering printed materials…a lot of people do. (As long as the backing material is laser-safe.)

Any idea what material it might be / how to print on it / where to get it?

You might want to just ask on the video…it looks like a heavy paper or chipboard backing with a print applied to it. (Kind of like a cereal box.)

for puzzle making, people generally print on photo paper or something similar, then glue that to either chipboard or wood. i’ve cut laser printed paper and inkjet printed paper for puzzles and for other projects. for puzzles, i’ve added a clear varnish on top of the photo after it was mounted to the wood, and then cut.
