Production Unit IS in USE!

Yes Virginia… they DO exist !!. Yes, This week an actual Production (read - NOT pre-release or Beta) was delivered to a modest little home in Tucson , AZ! Despite a few hiccups connecting (which May have very well been my issues - still not certain), ProdForgeOne has created a Founders ruler. FYI, once past my “hiccup” tossing in a piece of :proofgrade: (arrived in box 3 of my 3 boxes delivered that hot day in June - the first), and dragging the image of my founders ruler to the spot and easy peasy !!!. Unfortunately I had to work today but now its (Late) friday night but the start to my first official Production Glowforge weekend!! I hope to start posting projects ASAP, but honestly may be “preoccupied” for a little while with my :glowforge:.

I keep trying to take a pic with my phone of the ruler, but always comes looking blurry - heres a screen cap of me about to print the 2nd ruler (they smell like candy…:squee::heart_eyes:)

Congrats to you and PFO! You guys are going to make beautiful things together and I can’t wait to see them. Totally understandable if you get distracted too. Just think of us and snap an occasional pic to throw our way when you need to come up for air or maybe go to the bathroom once in awhile. :wink:

I am giddy that you are up and running. The pressure is off to post stuff for the rabble :wink: but I still will when I have something I think is worthy.
I’m sure you will do great things with it but I just wonder how great things will be when there are several hundred out there and more being delivered?

This has been the largest laser knowledge base even while the :glowforge: didn’t exist. I can only imagine what it will be like here come fall.
