Did this photo engrave of my coworker’s dog; turned out pretty great, except I really shouldn’t have placed it where I did, lol. I’m amazed at the level of detail it picked up.

Mango wood…I found a bunch of different sized rounds in the kitchen section of our local At Home store. It works great for words as well as images, and a magic eraser wipes the smoke stains easy peasy.
Your engraving is fantastic. The wood round that you used highlights the dogs fur and looks great. Beautiful engraving.
