Too late for me to forge (don’t want to wake the family). So I am not sure if this will work. But here is my nested version.

If you make two, you could put a 2mm hole along one edge or near the corner and use that middle piece for earrings. I’ve made earrings out of actual 45 adapters. Thanks for the design.
