I put up a post (more that 32 days ago… So the original is locked) about getting glass bottles sand blasted etc. Just wanted to drop a quick update to that thread with images of the current prototype as people had asked to see them:
Still not 100% sure which handle to go for, the long ghts inside are only a string of fairy lights (they should be 3x 0.3 w LEDs) and the switch needs finalising but they’re coming on. Bases are sections of 10 mm basswood forged, and the handle is two layers of 6 mm birch plywood. I need to get wider basswood sheets tbh.
