Remaking my Kyle Emerick coaster

I made one with my 2.8w jtech laser on crappy wood. Time to remake it on proofgrade with the glowforge! Thanks @kyle_emerick! http://sandyeggo.com/project/marvel-character-disc/

I’m going to put a piece of acrylic over it

Update: done!

How will you fasten the acrylic to the wood? …and totally awesome design.

Its @kyle_emerick design. It’s in the link above.

Its already attached in that picture. Loctite professional superglue. Best stuff on earth.

This is the stuff. I use this for all my proofgrade bonding. Wood, acrylic, brass. Just lightly scuff if not seen.

Very cool! I kinda want to see it next to your original one to compare.

Am I blind, or does that stuff not leave a single mark on the acrylic? I don’t see any whitening or droplet marks or anything. Am I missing it?

Chrystal clear and I pushed down hard which helps. I put it on the perimeter ring of cherry wood.

Did you just go with PG settings for the Marvel (Mayan) Calendar?

No, but its vectors, not image. So just what ever you like from your own personal taste. Not allowed to discuss settings here.
