Remove glass from glowforge

Hey, search is letting me down, or pointing me to the now-defunct openglow pages.

Does any one know of a post or have pics of the glass lid clips on the GF case? Asking for @Deleted, he asked what the silver stickers were inside the lid, I know they’re tamper-evident stickers, but can’t find pics of the clips and how to remove them. Anyone got it?

Hmm, you can make a few inferences here:

If you look closely at the you can see where the clips snap into the case. They’re little “ramps” on the left side.

Here is a video for removing the side cover and exposing the fan on a basic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLBdab99IsA

That’ll do it, good find.

the thing on the left, is that where you put the transmission fluid?

:stuck_out_tongue:

Oil change every 3,000 cuts.

Seriously, thought: In a pro there is a coolant fluid reservoir over there, and the molded screw holes are where you affix the heat exchanger, right in front of the fan.

I just pie in it from time to time

is there a way to remove the cover without removing the internal silver stickers?
I’ve seen someone has a tool.

Thanks!
