I recreated a bag I’ve been admiring for a while. It’s a 1940’s MP43 Gunsmith Bag. It was used to carry around tools to fix the MP43 machine gun - from what I’ve read. I updated it with pockets inside and out and it’s all cut on the Glowforge with no Pasthrough. The hardest part was sewing the front pocket on. I decided to make it from 1 piece of leather with some tabs instead of a gusset. Folding the tabs and stitching them on took a while but for this style bag I think it looks better than a gusset.
The pattern is available in my Etsy shop-ProfesoraLeather.
