I am purchasing a Glowforge Basic for our school site. It will need to be on a cart that can be moved across campus. How sensitive is the Glowforge to being moved on a cart over concrete? Will this result in damage to the machine? I’m not sure how sensitive the innards are. Thoughts?

I would definitely re-install the orange bits and remove the head for the ride.

The Glowforge can bump across country and survive Fed Ex - but as suggested already, remove the head, secure the carriage, and I would tape down the lid.

In addition to the orange bits you’ll probably want to run the camera calibration whenever you roll it across campus.
