Scrabble Name Ornament

So I wanted to make these Scrabble ornaments on my Eufymake E1 UV printer for the holidays. Problem is, no Eufymake printer. I’m sure many of you know the struggles of extended delays with a Kickstarter launch, so we continue to wait as now it looks like February of 2026 before the printer will arrive. So, I had to color these ornaments by hand like it was 2021. Ew, manual labor. They would have been pretty cool UV printed, but happy with the results doing it the old fashioned way.

The frame is 3d printed PLA, the board is draftboard, and the tiles are maple. I’m making about 10 of these for different family and friends.

Scrabble for Charity

[GF-Scrabble-10] I was asked to make a Scrabble board for an upcoming charity auction for a local literacy council. I used Cherry plywood from Owyn’s for the board, and Hickory (Pecan) Ply for the tiles. I used oil based Sharpie pens to color in the board, and used a little mineral oil to bring out the wood grain. How big are the tiles?

~2.9" for the tiles. 5" for the board. 5.4" for the frame.

This turned out great! I was thinking it would be the new Cuttle ornament as well…I too am waiting on the Eufy E1…lots of delays but I think I’m taking it better than the FB group-they’re just mean . Your handpainting on this turned out beautiful. I’m sure they’ll love it!
