I think they do these in Delrin (acetal), probably 1/16" inch, as well, but I think you could do a pretty good one out of acrylic and a C clamp, although it probably wouldn’t hold up to repeated pressure like the Delrin would.

That is neat. The Polyoxymethylene they are using looks like it can off-gas formaldehyde. That seems to be the only negative with it, though.
