Selling my Glowforge Pro (UK)

Originally purchased to use in a small Etsy business, but I started a new job and do not have the time to start a new business anymore, hence why I am selling. This is a top of the range machine. I have only used it a small number of times and it works brilliantly.

This includes everything seen in the pictures. I have ordered a new crumb tray which will be included as well. Original box included. Postage will also be included, I will aim to post the item ASAP.

This is priced to sell at £4,200

However, I would consider offers but only reasonable ones. This is already the cheapest pro version for sale on eBay. If anyone is interested and is based in the United Kingdom then please feel free to get in touch. Thanks.

You might want to specify whether it is still under warranty – when was it purchased?

Hi, I checked and the warranty doesn’t transfer from person to person with this manufacturer (glowforge). So unfortunately it will not come with a warranty, but I have a number of videos of it in action with no issues. So buyers can rest assured that it functions with no issues. Thanks for the question

Looks like they’ve updated the page to indicate warranties don’t transfer. That’s sad :pensive:

You’re correct. It’s a shame but it doesn’t transfer over. Most manufacturers warranties are tied to the product not the individual.

Do you know anywhere I might be able to sell my machine? I know it’s quiet a niche item to sell so any help would be lovely, thanks

Some folks have succeeded on Facebook marketplace if you use that. Or if there’s Craigslist, or an equivalent, near you.
Lastly, is there’s a makerspace near you they might have a bulletin board.

Fingers crossed for you!

Many electronics and appliance standard, factory warranties are non-transferable. More don’t than do. It was nice that GF offered this for so long.
