Settings: 1/8" Bubinga

1/8" thick 6x12 sheet of Bubinga from Inventables. I concur with others posts remarking on its photonic toughness:

Speed = 130
Power = Full (Basic Model)

Lots of ash, and there’s a pretty significant kerf of about 0.4mm after cleanup (recommend wearing gloves). Here’s a magnified shot of the edge (with and cross grain) before and after lasing:

Trying to cut with multiple passes at higher speed and/or lower power didn’t work - the char effectively shields and wood under the cut, making multiple passes completely ineffective.

Alcohol and orange oil did nothing to further clean the edge beyond a dry paper towel, so it seems pretty stable once its been wiped down.
