I have made several boxes. You can make small boxes out of big boxes and add regular or custom wrapping paper also cut to size, and put in place with spray adhesive.

I gave it a shot on Cuttle - but I’m pretty terrible so I started with @bwente’s chipboard box. I haven’t had a chance to try it out, so if anyone wants to give it a shot!

Looks good! I don’t make too many boxes, since the surface area is too large. I was wondering how you were going to solve the size issue.
Great idea to use two pieces.
Reminds me of another experiment I tried.

and (as far as I can tell) if you use the sliders to shrink/grow the original, the inset will shrink/grow the same percentage, but remina the tiny bit smaller.
