Shipping weight of GF basic

I am shipping back my GF basic for exchange. The Fed X form wants to know if its over 70lbs? I have no idea the weight, I just know its heavy.

Thanks so much for anyone that can answer.

Shipping dimensions of a Glowforge are 46" x 29" x 16" and 70 pounds.

They worked pretty hard to stay within those limitations because they knew they’d be shipping it!

I answered that question yes because FedEx tracking said it weighed 78 pounds.

… and that’s also the number one candidate for why the crumb tray ships separately… (edit - this was in response to DB’s answer 2 posts up)

Yeah, I don’t think we’re supposed to ship the tray back with it when they do replacements. Hang on to that.

Yeah, definitely not - not the tray, power cord, or hose - just the machine itself
