There’s something to be said for a head cold that kept me home for a week. November craft show is right around the corner, and I’m having a great time with my GF.
Since most people spell my name wrong, I have made this sign for my purchasers:
First I scored everytyhing, then engraved the text and cut the mounting holes (in the monograms…they are toothpicks for alignment). Before moving anything, I cut the board out. Then I used another piece of material for the layered monograms. The “mat” is hand-colored with alcohol pens.
I have learned the hard way not to move anything until I’ve pried pieces up with a fine pair of tweezers. If it doesn’t lift out, I cut again.
