Silicon Sleeve Jig?

Hi everyone - I’m considering selling personalized glass tumblers with silicon sleeves (see photo) but I’m uncertain of the best technique for engraving them. Would it be best to create some sort of cup silhouette jig to insert into the sleeve… and then use magnets to hold it flat??

I’ve seen a couple other glowforge users do this and the results are awesome - but they don’t seem interested in sharing their techniques.

Any helpful insights here?
