While upgrading my internet service to 4G my service provider gave me a “nano” card yet my device needed a “micro” card. A nano card will work if it is positioned correctly. I used my GF to make a precision adapter.

I have a huge stack of 1.5mm frosted clear acrylic, would it be too thick?
How thick is your SIM card?
My SIM card is 0.62 mm thick. If your shim is thicker, then the SIM won’t make good contact.
