Simple Green Wipes! 🧽

I have never seen it in wipe form. My laziness has hit a new level.

It really holds up with cleaning the front door, where paper towels turned into rolled clumps.

I just use vinegar to clean mine. Works like a charm.

They’ve been around forever. I keep a set next to my GF for fast cleaning

New to me, thanks!

I use baby wipes for the same purpose. Any wet towels are great!

I have never seen those. don’t think I need them for my glowforge, but clearly do for the window on my electric smoker

Although the baby wipes worked well, I found that they seemed to leave a little film that seemed to attract gunk much faster. Maybe it’s because of the brand of wipes I bought. The main reason I switched to vinegar though is cost - baby wipes get really expensive and vinegar is really cheap, especially when I buy it in the gallon jugs because we use it so much.

LOL, we use vinegar by the gallon as well. rinse aid in the dishwasher, in the washing machine. sheesh, all over the dang place.

I buy the el cheapo ones (CVS brand in an orange packages) in bulk so, while more expensive than vinegar and paper towels, it’s not by much (either that or I spend too much on my paper towels) :stuck_out_tongue: It’s possible they have fewer skin softening agents than better brands, but I haven’t noticed a film. I clean maybe once every few months, but I only run about 1 cut/day on average (a bunch all at the same time, and then nothing for a week+).

Of course, nothing but Zeiss on the mirrors/lens/windows.

I use it in my dishwasher too, especially because I do a lot of canning. We also put it in the water for the goats and chickens.

@deirdrebeth - I just buy the heap ones from Walmart. I do use Zeiss on the lens and mirrors.
