Another simple functional design, this one for you Yeast Ranchers and Mushroom Cloners.
This is a rack for six 15mL test tubes with conical bottoms, about 16mm in diameter. It will hold the tubes at a 5º angle so that you can cool agar slants for your biology projects. I find that using 7mL of agar liquid will result in a nice long slant surface, ready to be inoculated with your favorite fungus.
The design assumes the use of acrylic about 2.6 or 2.7mm thick for the holder parts.
