Small Light-Up Stand

I lasered up this little light-up display/photography stand last week. The base is several layers of laser-cut walnut, glued together and finished (hand sanding and wipe-on poly). I made a hacky little light with a 3D-printed battery holder, some Chibitronics Circuit Stickers, a surface mount switch, and a LIR1254 rechargeable battery. The switch is reachable through a cut-out in the 1.6mm birch ply bottom. A piece of diffuser material and a 1-inch clear acrylic cube sit on a lip over the light.

I have several of the cubes, and will likely experiment with engraving things on the sides, too.
