Any one tried cutting a flattened soda pop can ? If so please share the settings .

You cannot cut metal with a :glowforge:

Mark it maybe, with help, but not cut.

You can’t cut tin foil with a 40-45W laser either. it’s not the thickness so much as whether the material is susceptible to the ~temps the laser can generate.

I’ve made it through tin foil before but a can lid would be a bit much and might damage the laser trying to get through. Wasn’t really cutting tho as much maybe melting?

I would suggest not doing it but it can be done.
