Sold! I’ve got a 2016-ish 1x1m X-Carve CNC router I need to get rid of. Local maker space doesn’t want it. Includes the router, a Dewalt compact router (happy to keep if you don’t need it), and an upgraded X-axis gantry that I never installed (prevents deflection of original design).
I used it a dozen times before my GF was delivered, and never since. I’ll make you one heck of a deal. I just want to see it go to a good home vs. the dump when they clean out my house.
Looks like this but with a much larger bed (and, of course, the frame & such are larger to suit.)
Too bad. I have a Onefinity that I’m using to make a couple of Adirondack chairs for seniors right now. (I was using it to make templates for things like the chair parts but figured I’d try just cutting them all out of the 3/4" cedar boards instead.)
If you don’t get any takers, let me know and I’ll drive down and take it off your hands. I’m in the extreme SW corner of NC and not that far from Atlanta (good excuse to see some friends there). Our local middle school still has shop classes and they’d love it. Our woodworkers club works with them and I’m always surprised at how many kids take the class and make things.
I’m in atlanta area. i’m interested but you’d have to walk me thru how to use it too - as i’m not sure what software would talk to it- giving designs. Is it tlimited to the 2" depth too -no wood and metal or glass etching?
