I had been wondered whether your recent purchases were because you assumed the FrankenForge project would be a major fail.
Are those phone books? Do you own the last working pay phone in America?
Wouldn’t it be cheaper to throw money in the slot machine rather than buy spare Glowforges.

I want it…but do I need it? That’s the question…it’s still a good chunk of money on something I just want…
I need to think on it some more…I’m not producing enough right now for a second machine…but with a second machine, I could expand…
I’ll think about it…just bought a project car…funds have been diverted to that for a bit…

Honestly, any excuse to take a road trip towards Vegas is carrot enough. I’m not a gambler, but I love walking around the casinos looking at the amazing displays. I particularly like the ones where it feels like I’m in Europe and not in the oven that is Las Vegas.

My first trip there was in early August about 10 years ago. I didn’t feel half-baked…I felt fully baked…burnt…and ready to crumble to dust if it wasn’t so dang humid.

I believe it. I’ve been in April and November, and now those are the only 2 months I’m confident I can handle. How is the weather now? I only ask because it’s going to be 92 here today (84 right now), but it feels like I’m under a magnifying glass when I step outside. And I always imagine what I’m feeling, Vegas is worse.

Or a down payment on a UV printer to accompany your existing GF
Gratefully, I got that out of my blood, although the Mustang was fun it proved to be enough.
This was supposed to be a fix and flip, but he likes it and we needed a different car to take the dog with us to places. It’s not a fancy rebuild or anything. Just a 20+ year old Honda CRV that couldn’t pass smog. Now it’s passed and running better than ever.

The addiction is real. Get help now. kind of like me in in the mid 70’s to 80. The army had audio/photo clubs and the PX and I used to spend SO MUCH MONEY on high end stereo…individual components… must have put out $5k back then…now
