SOMA puzzle cube!

So I started with a puzzle saw at our local science center.

8 piece block puzzle (x2)

I made these block puzzles and they are lots of fun! But my kids haven’t been able to figure them out. [IMG_3491] So to make it even easier, I doubled it! This creates even more possible solutions to the puzzle. But my kids still prefer to just build with the blocks, and I guess that is okay too. [IMG_3490] Solved! (One of many solutions.) And @hansepe pointed me to the SOMA cube, talking about the similarities and how much fun it was.

So I tried it out, and it IS so much fun!

There are so many different puzzles you can make with just these seven blocks!

I think the turtle has to be my favorite so far!

Much easier to see the horse with the legs splatted out in the turtle than in the butterfly
