i thought I was hearing things out in the garage last night. Sounded like someone was moving in.
I made my first fairy door, out of draftboard. This is a test to see how long it takes the cats to discover and try to open it.

I love it!! That really finishes it off! Mine will have to go near the floor though - I donāt have any cupboards, just shelves. When I make one, I think Iāll do the mouse door as a tiny door with a tiny āwelcomeā sign on it! Actuallly, I think Iāll make the fairy door a little bigger too. We have several stumps from trees weāve cut, and have talked about putting little gnome home decor on them. This will be perfect!

Finally got around to playing with my GF again. Itās been a while since I actually did anything on it. This didnāt turn out exactly how I planned it, since I accidently enlarged the āmouseā door. But I still like it.
Itās in its stand until I decide where I want to put it. I might send it to our youngest, who just bought a new house.

Thatās awesome! This would be a great house-warming gift; maybe their names on the door? and if they have a dog or catā¦then the mouse door is the right size after all.
